Introducing our Advanced Photography program, where creativity meets technology in the heart of the digital age. This immersive 6 months journey you will have a one on one training session with the mentor and tutors, where you will not only learn skills, but also understand their experience. To upscale your photography skills ICA master photography program will provide you more than 25 Theory chapters covering over 200 topics, 100 and more tips on photography knowledge enhancement & also includes over 50 activity demo classes to make you understand all the critical aspects.

In practical session it covers 8 important fields of photography.  The syllabus includes over 30 to 40 demo classes on understanding the usage of photographic equipment and accessories and over 100 tips on practical skill development. You will also have a series of opportunities to understand the practical shooting techniques from the experts in the industry.

FAQs Photography

As the medium of instructions is in English, anyone who can read, understand and write English are eligible. Age group – 15+
Any course at ICA is designed to give appropriate importance to all the elements in photography learning. The courses consist of well-balanced Theory inputs, Practical coaching, Lectures from experts, Demonstration of equipments and accessories and giving assignments.
You can enter the professional world of photography and pursue your career in the area of Advertising photography, Architectural Photography, Wildlife photography, Industrial Photography, Fashion Photography, Travel Photography, Product photography, Wedding and event photography and many more.
Basic course students can take it up as passion or career and start upskilling further and can jump into assisting any photographer. They can also move on to freelancing and work directly with the clients. Professional and Advanced students can take up as their professional career and can work in production houses, Freelance, Assist photographers, Start up their own studio etc., Both can take up photography as a job.
Academy will not provide any camera. If you don’t own a camera we can suggest you a place where you can hire the camera. The studio assistant will have one camera dedicated as a backup for internal use (Teaching Purpose only).
It depends on which area in photography you wish to progress in. The cameras and accessories are available depending on your budget. If you don’t have any camera for the course you can hire basic camera and lens.
You are supposed to carry any DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) or Mirrorless camera for this course.
No. As this is a professional course Aim and Shoot or fixed lens cameras cannot be used.
Any Telephoto lens which reasonably covers wide angle and tele is sufficient. Ex: 18-55, 24 – 105, 17-40, 18-135. 18-200 etc. Please make your own study before purchasing any lens.
One fully charged battery is sufficient as long as it holds the charge.
A 32 GB memory card is sufficient.
You should compulsorily carry the manuals of your camera (soft or hard copy). You should carry a unruled Long book for all the classes.
In Basic course the students should carry out their own outdoor shooting as per the instructions of the mentor and submit the images for review and assessment. In professional and advanced course Outdoor shooting is the part of the curriculum.
Basic course students will see and understand how to light up for professional model shoot, E-Commerce shoot and Still Life shots. By the end of the course, Professional and Advanced course students will be able to operate and handle most of the studio and outdoor gears.
The basic course students will have a demo of all the equipments. Professional & Advanced course students can use all the relevant equipment and accessories for the shoot.
Academy never promises internship or placement. We will genuinely try for the same in our associate firms and contacts. With the level of training you get at the academy, if you have the will, you will become an independent photographer to stand on your own.
Yes, short duration class will have tea break of 10 minutes every 2 hours and full day class / workshops/ seminars will have lunch and tea breaks.
